Changes have been made to the regional quota for the admission of kandases
KAZINFORM — The Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan has amended the regional quota for the admission of kandas and migrants for 2024.
In particular, the number of the regional quota for the admission of kandas for 2024 is fixed at 3,033 people. And the number of the regional quota for the admission of emigrants this year is set at 6,450 people.
In early July, it was announced that the regional quota for the admission of kandas would increase to 600 people.
Recall that the quota for the admission of kandas in the regions of settlement for 2024 was 2,433 people.
As of July 1 of this year, 8,758 ethnic Kazakhs have reunited with their historical homeland and received the status of kandas.
